They were unknowns when the bracket placements were made, but now we have a taste of what to expect! BLL has mastered the scoring and positioning - while JI can swing a wicked racket! The velocity of Julie's shots rivals that of the male players! My mouth dropped when BLL hit a great shot deep to Julie's left corner, only to see JI track it down, get position, then rip a backhand crosscourt for a winner! BLL demonstrated quick reflexes deflecting rockets fired her way! Julie however, already processes a formidable serve! She aced BLL to score the first point of the match, and can stroke with respectable pace both the forehand and backhand! The young woman has talent, and with practice could advance quickly through the bracket!
